MacKinnon leads 3 Stars of the Month for November
Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon, Stars forward Jason Robertson, and Blackhawks center Connor Bedard have been named the NHL's top players for the month of November, presented by GEICO.
FIRST STAR - NATHAN MacKINNON, C, COLORADO AVALANCHE
MacKinnon dominated the Avalanche's November performance with impressive statistics. He led the team in even-strength points (20), plus/minus (+20), points (26), even-strength assists (11), goals (11), even-strength goals (9), assists (15), and shots on goal (57). This outstanding performance helped the Avalanche secure 11 wins, 0 losses, and 2 draws in November, their highest single-month point total since January 2022. MacKinnon's scoring prowess was evident in his 11 games with at least one point, including a remarkable seven multi-point performances. His 12 points over three consecutive games from Nov. 8-11 were the most by a Colorado player since Peter Forsberg's 12 points in 1995. With 1,059 points in 895 career games, MacKinnon is now among the top three in franchise history for goals, assists, and points.
SECOND STAR - JASON ROBERTSON, LW, DALLAS STARS
Robertson's outstanding month propelled the Stars to an impressive 11-2-2 record in November, equaling their most points in a calendar month this century. He led the NHL in goals (13) and points (26) across 15 games, showcasing his exceptional scoring ability. Robertson also excelled in other categories, including shots on goal (62), power-play points (10), power-play assists (7), power-play goals (3), assists (13), and plus/minus (+12). His goal-scoring streak from Nov. 11-25, with 17 points, is the longest in Stars history since the team's relocation to Dallas in 1993-94. Robertson's multi-point performances, including three consecutive three-point games, further highlight his impact.
THIRD STAR - CONNOR BEDARD, C, CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS
Bedard's exceptional performance in November lifted the Blackhawks to a 6-5-3 record, placing them just one point away from the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. With 23 points in 14 games, Bedard finished third in the League, matching Patrick Kane's record for most points in a single calendar month this century. He contributed significantly to the team's success, recording more than half of the Blackhawks's 44 November goals. Bedard also excelled in power-play situations, leading the team in power-play assists (6), goals (10), power-play points (8), assists (13), and shots on goal (52). His outstanding performance has positioned him among the League leaders in points, goals, and assists this season.
