Haas F1 Team Unveils 2026 Car Livery with Toyota as Title Sponsor (2026)

Haas Unveils 2026 F1 Car Liveries: A New Era with Toyota Gazoo Racing

The Haas Formula 1 team has unveiled its 2026 car liveries, marking a significant shift with Toyota Gazoo Racing as the title sponsor. This partnership, formalized at the end of 2024, has led to a fresh design that reflects the collaboration's strength. The new livery showcases Toyota's branding across the engine cover, front wing, and front of the halo, while the car itself features a white base with red accents, a stark contrast to last year's black and red scheme.

The American team finished eighth in last year's standings with Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon, who will continue as drivers this season. This performance secured Haas its best points total (79) since 2018, setting a solid foundation for the new era.

'Like all teams, we've faced the challenge of competing in 2025 while looking to design and now build these new-regulation entries for the 2026 season,' said owner Gene Haas. 'The pre-season will be crucial to understand what these cars are capable of and how the drivers, engineers, and teams in general adapt to them. We at least have continuity in terms of the drivers, with Ollie and Esteban, as well as in our design and engineering teams.'

The new VF-26 design features a pushrod front suspension and a pushrod setup at the rear, with wide winglets on the front wing. Team principal Ayao Komatsu expressed the excitement of unveiling the car early, noting the challenges and opportunities presented by the new regulations.

'It feels almost a bit surreal to be unveiling a new car this early in the year, but it’s not any less exciting venturing into a new F1 campaign - especially one with such a change in regulations,' Komatsu said. 'We’re fully focused on being ready for shakedown week in Barcelona. It’s been a monumental effort from everyone on the team to work with such a tight turnaround time from the end of last season to putting cars on track in January.'

The team's launch was a more intimate affair compared to the Red Bull-owned teams' grand reveal in Detroit, but the focus remained on the car's performance and the team's readiness for the season ahead.

As the season progresses, track time in Spain and Bahrain will be crucial, and the team is prepared for the challenges ahead. The partnership with Toyota Gazoo Racing and the new car design signal a fresh start for Haas, with the team aiming to build on last year's success and adapt to the new regulations. The question remains: can Haas maintain its upward trajectory and challenge for better results in 2026?
